Ingredients

  • 1 cup labneh

  • 3-4 dried Persian shallots sliced

  • 2 tablespoons Aleppo pepper

  • 2 tablespoons za'atar

  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning

  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Place the dried shallots in a bowl and cover them with water. Let them soak overnight or for at least 8 hours. Once they are rehydrated, drain them and finely chop.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the labneh and Persian shallots. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.

  3. Divide the labneh mixture into 9 small portions, shaping each into small balls, around 1 inch in diameter.

  4. Roll 3 of the labneh balls in Aleppo pepper until coated, another 3 in za'atar and the remaining 3 labneh balls in everything bagel seasoning.

  5. Place the labneh balls in a jar and cover with olive oil.

  6. Refrigerate for up to one week.
